There are endless opportunities when it comes to places in Scotland requiring an overnight stay. We would recommend a night in the east neuk of Fife at a cosy B&B in the coastal town of Crail. From there you can sample some delightful seafood for supper and spend a delightful day in the infamous St Andrews. Marvel at the university buildings, St Andrews castle and make your way around the marvellous golf course, well known as ‘The Old Course
If you prefer to find out more about golf on the west of Scotland, then there is of course Turnberry, Loch Lomond and Machrihanish on the Mull of Kintyre….to name but a few.
Naturally from here we should really spend a little time Glasgow. This city is quite extraordinary – there’s no shortage of museums, galleries, architecture, entertainment and restaurant to keep you busy.
